| We're getting set to build a work of art in every sense right in the heart of Wakefield. The Art House Project, situated in the city centre just off Westgate, is a £2.1 million contract to deliver a brand new complex that will showcase the arts. Ellmore's work, which commences in January 2007, will involve the incorporation of the latest environmentally friendly solutions including solar heated water into a modern and vibrantly designed building. Featuring studios, meeting rooms and offices, this new build will also be completely accessible for artists and visitors with disabilities. It's great news according to Steve Ellmore: "This is a prestigious development that will really create an impact in Wakefield and across the region and it signifies another good year ahead for Ellmore Construction!"
